Die Gruppe übernimmt die Verantwortung dafür, dass die Person möglichst knapp vor der Wand sanft gestoppt wird. Bestmöglich läuft die ganze Übung ohne zu sprechen ab. Die Gruppe soll sich vor dem Start der Übung gut besprechen und die Übung eventuell einmal sehend durchführen.
Der Person, die der Gruppe vertrauen soll, kann der Hinweis gegeben werden, dass mit weniger Geschwindigkeit auch weniger Mut erforderlich ist. Empfohlen ist außerdem, die Übung als Anleitender selbst einmal auszuprobieren um das Gefühl kennenzulernen. Es sollte auf keinen Fall passieren, dass eine Person unsanft oder gar nicht gestoppt wird. Das führt dazu, dass Mut und Vertrauen verloren gehen.
